This Privacy Policy describes how AI Meal Feedback ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the App.

Information We Process

When you use meal scanning and feedback features, the App may process the following:

• Meal photos you choose to scan
• An anonymous device identifier used to enforce scan limits and prevent abuse
• Purchase and subscription status information provided by Apple and RevenueCat
• Recent meal scans cached locally on your device

How We Use Information

We use this information only to:

• Analyze meal photos and estimate nutrition
• Generate meal impact insights, score factors, and meal-improvement suggestions
• Enforce free and premium scan limits
• Restore and manage premium subscription access
• Provide support if you contact us

AI Processing

If you use the AI meal scan feature, your selected meal photo is sent through our scan service to OpenAI so the app can estimate nutrition, explain likely impact, and suggest realistic improvements. Please do not upload sensitive, personal, or unrelated photos.

Local Storage

Recent scan history, meal results, daily scores, habit insights, and certain app preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not require you to create an account to use the App.

Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services that process limited information on our behalf, including:

• OpenAI, for AI-powered meal analysis
• RevenueCat, for subscription management and purchase restoration
• Apple, for in-app purchases and App Store services

Data Retention

We aim to minimize data collection. Recent scans and meal feedback stay on your device unless you clear them. The backend retains only minimal scan-event records needed for scan limits, subscription access, service reliability, and legal compliance.

Your Choices

• You can decline AI scan consent and choose not to use the AI scan feature
• You can revoke AI scan consent later in the App settings
• You can clear recent scans from within the App
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
